While preparing any of these meals, remember to ensure and double check all work surfaces, utensils and food items are free of any gluten.
Gluten Free French Toast
Prep Time: 15 mins
Serving Size: 4
What you’ll need:
- 8 slices of Home St. or Bakeworks gluten-free bread
- 4 Eggs
- ½-¾ cup of coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of sugar (or honey!)
- 2 tablespoons of canola oil
- Compliments to serve with (your choice!)
How to do it:
- Beat your eggs and combine them with the milk, sugar and vanilla. Whisk until it’s completely blended.
- Dip your Bakeworks bread slices in the mixture, ensuring both sides are fully soaked.
- Heat oil (at about 200°C) in a large pan and fry the soaked bread slices. Cook each side until golden brown.
- Serve with butter, icing sugar, fruit and any other desired compliments.
Gluten Free Pizza
Prep Time: 35 minutes
Serving Size: 2 Pizzas
What you’ll need:
Base: Home St. Sprouted Pizza GF Base
Sauce:
- 1 Can of crushed tomatoes with added purée
- 4 1/2 teaspoons of extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of fine sea salt
Toppings:
- 2 cups of mozzarella cheese
- Basil leaves
- ¼ cup of Diced Yellow Capsicum
- And all your other favourite personal additions
How to do it:
- Stir tomatoes and oil together over a low heat in a saucepan. Bring to simmer, partially cover and then continue simmering. Stir every now and again and continue this process for about 20 minutes (or until the sauce is reduced to 1 cup). Stir in sugar, salt and oregano.
- Brush 1 teaspoon of olive oil across your Home St. Sprouted Pizza GF Bases. Spread your tomato sauce mix over the base and sprinkle with mozzarella. Drizzle the leftover 2 teaspoons of olive oil over pizzas.
- Cook in pizza oven (or conventional oven) until ready.
- Add your choices of toppings and serve.
Gluten Free Bread Pudding
This is a great way to use bread that’s starting to go a bit stale and make the most out of your Bakeworks Products.
What you’ll Need
- 6 eggs
- 1 ¼ cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 1 can of coconut milk
- ½ cup of water
- 4 cups of crumpled Bakeworks gluten-free bread
How to do it:
- Preheat oven to about 170°C.
- Grease a baking dish (9x13).
- Mix the sugar, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla extract into a large bowl.
- Pour milk into a saucepan and combine with ½ cup of water.
- Heat milk and water over medium heat until it has been warmed.
- Add the milk mix into the bowl of other ingredients and leave to sit for about 5 minutes.
- Pour all contents into a baking pan and bake for 45 minutes.
- Serve at your desired temperature with your favourite sauce.

Just wanted to send you guys a little note to let you know how amazing this brand is. You clearly put a huge amount of work into making these as everything tastes amazing. I have been struggling for months having to drive around several different supermarkets to find some of your stuff so now I know you are online this is fantastic. Please keep doing what your doing. You have saved so many of us from having to eat what we call “cardboard” 😂
